Is Persist a CRM?

How does the Client Retention Score work?

Persist calculates a 0–100 retention score based on your follow-up activity across your book of business. The score is benchmarked against carrier-specific retention averages, so you can see at a glance whether your book is healthy, at risk, or below your carrier's threshold. Agents can also set custom targets per carrier.

What happens if my retention score drops below my carrier's threshold?

Insurance carriers set minimum retention rate requirements for the agents they contract with. If an agent's retention falls below that threshold, the carrier may terminate the contract — meaning the agent loses the right to sell that carrier's policies and loses the associated commissions. Persist tracks your score against those benchmarks so you can act before it becomes a problem.
